Had to take the steps to get a bad tenant out of my property. With only the one unit to manage I have been lucky so far. Once the decision was made, I then had to decide how to do it. Being generally a cheap bastard I decided to go it without a lawyer. However, I knew that I needed help with filling out the documents. $$ well spent using Superior. In no time at all I had the necessary documents to file with the court. I think that if I had tried to do it myself I may not have the case filed yet, let alone win my case. I have known Luis at superior court docs for about three years now. I’m a solo and I have relied on him repeatedly as an independent paralegal when I’m overwhelmed. As a solo practitioner, I don’t have the resources to hire a full-time paralegal. But thanks to Luis I’ll never have to. Recently, I discovered just how amazing a resource he really is.I offer services in limited scope, and a litigant of limited means came to me with a complex civil matter. Unable to hire me as the attorney of record, she came to me for advice and an initial appearance, and then she wound up hiring Luis as a Legal Document Assistant to prepare her responses at her direction.The client was a kind and polite person, but far from legally sophisticated. I saw her initial responses, and they were factual, but significantly discombobulated. Somehow, Luis managed to take her responses, and turn them into a coherent and easy to follow response and argument, without advising her or practicing law himself.The most impressive document he assisted her with was a Mandatory Settlement Conference Brief. I know, because the client came back to me to appear with her. The brief was better than most briefs prepared by an attorney.
